

Rebecca “Becky” Huchingson, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on December 15th, 2025 just 21 days shy of her 94th birthday. Services will be at Moore Funeral Chapel in Arlington on Monday, December 29th at 10:00 a.m. with a graveside service following. Visitation will be on Monday, December 29th at 9:00 a.m.
Becky was born to Violet and Gilbert Bowman on January 5th 1932 in Hamlin, TX. She married Willis “Doc” Huchingson in 1951, and they made their home together in Arlington, Texas for 67 years. They have four children, Brenda Roper, Jerry Huchingson, Janie Clements and husband Tim, Patty Keyser and husband DK. Grandchildren Rhonda, Shannon, Amber, Matt, Shane, Callie, and Ashley. Great grandchildren Ruby, Allison, Celeste, Bradley, Emmy, Stella, Liam, Macy, Lyla, Jake, William, Abby, Katy, Riley, and baby boy Anderson on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents Violet and Gilbert Bowman, husband Willis Huchingson, son Jerry Huchingson, grandson Garrett Lee Clements, brothers Aubrey Bowman, Bill Bowman, Jack Bowman, GG Bowman, and sister Evelyn Butler.
Becky was a hard worker, and retired from the University of Texas at Arlington. She enjoyed playing Bunco, watching classics like Gunsmoke and Murder She Wrote, and in her latest years, visits with great-grandchildren.
Her eyes lit up when she would see the youngest members of her family. She will be remembered for her lively spirit, her ability to be funny without knowing it, and her long legacy that she leaves behind.
