Funeral service and burial will be at Moore Funeral Home on North Davis Street in Arlington on March 6, 2015 at 1 pm. Visitation will be held March 5, 2015 from 5 pm – 7 pm.
Bob was born June 21, 1929 in Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana where he was an accomplished track runner and gymnast. After graduating college in 1951, he moved to Texas and joined Nationwide Advertising in Arlington where he served in many capacities for 51 years – 33 years as president and chairman of the board.
A loyal Dallas cowboy fan, Bob earned his pilot’s license in 1966 and enjoyed co-owning private planes. All his life, he loved cars. He owned hundreds of different models over his lifetime, including 37 Lexus automobiles. He and his wife Mickey enjoyed playing golf together and were long-time members of Shady Valley Golf Club.
Survivors: daughter, Kelly; son, Scott, grandson, Larkin; sister, Rita; nephew Todd and niece Lisa.
