He was born in Arlington on Jan. 12, 1974. Scott attended the University of Texas at Austin. He served six years in the U.S. Navy including four years as a nuclear operator on the attack submarine USS Greeneville, SSN 772. Subsequently he received a BA in business from UAI University. Scott had a career in oil and gas services for Haliburton Industries and in information technology. He was a member of a Masonic lodge, and had a passion for helping other people.
Survivors: His memories will be cherished by his wife, Martha Saxton; children, Gabriel, Sara and Emma Saxton of Arlington; parents, Wilford and Laura Saxton of Fort Worth; sister, Dr. Stephanie Saxton-Daniels and husband, James, of Dallas; and an abundant list of loving in-laws, cousins, uncles, aunts and caring friends.
