

Shirley Maxine Farmer Weis, 51, of Arlington, Texas passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Central Baptist Church, 311 E. Third Street, Arlington, Texas 76010. Burial will follow in Parkdale Cemetery at 3:30 pm on Saturday. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012.
Shirley Maxine Farmer was born April 10, 1964 in Waco, Texas to Robert Farmer and Roxie Mae Tabor Farmer. She married Mike Weis on February 14, 1998. Shirley worked as a dog groomer for All Paws of Pantego. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and had a passion for witnessing to the lost, making jewelry, and making flower arrangements for loved ones gravesites.
Mrs. Weis was preceded in death by her father Robert Farmer, her step-father E.W. Thomas, and by one brother, Cordell Farmer. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Mike Weis of Arlington, her mother Roxie Thomas of Waco, one brother, Benny Thomas of Saginaw, three children; Matthew Weis of Dallas, Phillip Weis of Denton, and Shalee Hall and her husband Robert of Arlington, grandchildren; Rebecca Weis of Denton, Gage Weis of Denton, Jacob Weis of Denton, Hunter Weis of Dallas, Kortnee Shank of Arlington, Jewel Shank of Arlington, Amber Jackson of Chandler, Oklahoma, Aimee Bourn of Houston and Chad Hall of Fate, Texas and great-grandchildren; Aubree Jackson, Kase Jackson, and Cooper Jack Bourn.
