Service: 9 a.m. Monday, March 26, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington.
William was a strong and courageous man, a soldier who was highly respected and loved by many.
Survivors: His wife, Sharon; sons, William Wheatley Jr. and wife, Tonya, Quentin Brown, Kendall Brown and wife, Virginia, and Edward Rawson and wife, Sherry; daughters, Charolette and husband, Raymond Gowan, Lorie Brown, and Janell and husband, Chris Rutten; his last surviving brother, Robert Wheatley; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
