Bertrand "Bert" Labbe

Auburn, ME - Turner: Bertrand "Bert" Labbe Sr, 81 of Turner passed away peacefully at Andwell Hospice House, with his family and close friends by his side, On February 3, 2026. Bert was born August 14, 1944 to Germaine and Antonio Labbe. He married his wife Nancy Bouchard on November 1967.

Bert worked as a maintenance technician at Gates Form and Fiber till he retired. He loved spending time with his family. Especially his 6 great grandchildren. He loved fishing, playing his spoons to his french music and sitting by the fire. Bert and Nancy spend over 20 years camping at Riverbend campground, where they made many great friends and memories.

Bert served in the United States Army and in June of 2026 him and his son went on the Honor Flight of Maine. One of his proudest moments. He was thankful for Bob Bourassa for getting him the application.

Bert is survived by his wife Nancy, his son Bert Labbe Jr & wife Laurie Labbe, daughters Wanda Charest and Barbara Stockwell. His grand kids Savannah Carvalho & husband David, Alisha Labbe, Jason Labbe and Julia Labbe. Great grand children Mallory, Delilah, Matthew, Alena, Jasmine and Sunnie.

Bert is predeceased by his son-in-law Donald Charest and his parents.

The Fortin & Pinette Group, 217 Turner Street, Auburn, ME on Sunday February 15, 2026 at 10 am. There will be a celebration after the service at The Eagles Club 1327 Sabattus Street, Lewiston, ME.
