

Auburn - Geraldine (Blanche) Beaulieu 85, Lewiston died Wednesday August 29, 2012 after a long illness and never complained a day in her life. Born in St. Hilaire, NB December 11, 1926 a daughter of the late Jean & Emelda Picard Pelletier she was educated in St. Hilaire schools. She was married to Albert Beaulieu who died October 28, 1984. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at The Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul and loved her work as a Skiver at Billing Shoe Co. from 1972 until 1990 when she retired. She will be remembered for her love of cooking for family gatherings, weddings, showers and also cooking and serving over 40 Lumber Jacks. Geraldine loved watching her sons play sports, shopping, playing cards and going out to eat with her sister Noella. She is survived by her son and caregiver Maurice (Moe) Beaulieu of Lewiston, daughter-in-law Joanne Pelletier, grandchildren, Kyle Beaulieu and fiancee Amanda Sasseville, Ricky, Debbie, Maureen, great-grandchildren, Amy, Matthew and Brittany Sheeri, Olivia and Anson, great-great-grandchildren:
Kendra, Angella, Jaylee and Jaydan, great-great- great grandchildren, Baily and Evan, her sisters, Albertine Lavoie, of Newington, Conn., Dora Bossie and husband Fernand of Madawaska, Angeline Bosse and husband Rene of Lewiston, Noella Ouellette of Lewiston, Sister Irene Pelletier (FMA) of Campbellton, NB, Joan Couturier and husband Arsene of Meriden Conn. Her brother Gerard Pelletier and wife Florence of Lewiston, sister-in-law Pauline Pelletier of Sabattus, god-daughter Theresa and husband Rory Gustus of Sabattus. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Beaulieu, son Gerard (Stu) Beaulieu and her daughter-in-law Susan Beaulieu, granddaughter Lisa Michaud and an infant son Normand, and her brothers Benoit, Roland and Albert Pelletier. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Mary's on C2 and the staff at AHH Hospice House. A special thank you to everyone who has helped us through this long journey and especially her sister, Noella for being her constant companion.
