Janice Elaine Nason Ouellette

Janice E.N.Ouellette, 73, of Minot passed away peacefully, surrounded by immediate family on Monday, July 7, 2025 at CMMC due to complications brought on by Mesothelioma. She was born in Lewiston on November 2, 1951, the daughter of John and Charlene Nason. Janice attended local schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1970 and married her husband of 50 years, G. Richard Ouellette. Together they raised their family of two children. Janice worked for many years at Minot Consolidated School before transitioning to a position at McKesson, where she stayed until retirement. She was an active member in theatre and in the Minot Center Grange. She loved gardening,sewing (especially quilting), and spending time with her family.

Janice was a devoted wife, mother, and nana. She is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Angelique, son Travis and his wife Sabrina and their son Jonathan. She is also survived by her brother Neal and his wife Cindy, sister Connie and her husband Glenn, and sister Mary, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the Adams wing at Marshwood Rehab in Lewiston for providing exceptional care and attention to Janice.

A celebration of life will be held at The Fortin Group Funeral Home, 217 Turner Street, Auburn on Sunday 20, 2025 at 10am, followed by a reception at The Fortin Group for family and friends.
