

Auburn- Mary J. Cavers, peacefully went with her Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 With her family at her side. During her 84 years, Ms. Cavers' most fulfilling roles included being one of nine beloved children of George and Irene McCarthy; serving as a devoted wife to the previously departed, Richard M. Cavers, with whom she reared three loving children, Patricia, Ricky and Wendy; becoming a grandmother to six grandchildren who adore her; maintaining loving relationships as a sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and friend; and proudly being a devout member of the Holy Family Catholic community in Lewiston, singing praise with their choir for many years. The depth of Ms. Cavers' adoration for her family is preserved in the hearts of all by whom she is survived: 3 sisters; 2 daughters; 1 son and daughter-in-law; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary J. Cavers will forever be loved, fondly thought of, and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have been loved by her. Immediately after the visitation period a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Holy Family church, Sabattus St. in Lewiston, followed by a burial service at Mt.
