Lewiston, ME - Raymond Arthur Thibodeau, aged 92, passed away on December 20, 2025. Born on August 16, 1933, Raymond was a resident of Lewiston, Maine. He was a kind-hearted, patient, and devoted individual, cherished by all who knew him.
Ray grew up in Augusta, ME, and attended Cony High School, laying the foundation for a life filled with love, service, and community involvement. He married his long-time love, Gloria Bellavance, on August 16, 1958, and together they celebrated 67 years of marriage, raising two children in Lewiston.
Ray served in the US Army, enlisting in 1954 and honorably discharged in 1956. He built a career with Geiger Bros. in Lewiston, working as a supervisor in the bookbinding department for 32 years until his retirement in 1995.
A man of many interests, Ray enjoyed following the Cony High School girls and boys basketball and football teams. He also spent several years bowling and enjoyed fishing, always valuing family above all. Ray and Gloria were dedicated communicants of St Patrick's Church and volunteered for 20 years with Community Concepts after his retirement.
Raymond leaves behind his beloved wife, Gloria Thibodeau; his son Dan Thibodeau (Lori); his daughter Donna Kent (Chris); grandchildren Heather Sheetz (Jason), Kevin Kent (Jessie , Olivia, and Jade; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Rileigh, Vinny, and Emmerik. He will also be missed by all of his special cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother, who raised him, Celina Thibodeau and his brothers Jerry and Paul Thibodeau.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at The Fortin & Pinette Group, located at 217 Turner St, Auburn, ME, on December 27, 2025, from 11 am- 12 pm, followed by a funeral service at the same location starting at 12:00 pm.
A private burial will be held at the Maine Veterans' Cemetery in Springvale.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and nurses at the Fresenius Kidney Center in Lewiston for their care and support over the last few years. Raymond's patient and loving nature will be dearly missed by his family and community.
