He was a loving dad, thoughtful helpful son, loyal friend, and a guardian angel to his brother.
He was born January 26, 1980 in Natick, MA the son of Alfred Dutra III and Wanda-Marie Abel.
After graduating Leavitt Area High school in 1998. Shawn also graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in 2000 and pursued his interest in motorcycles and watercraft for a few years. Most recently he worked for Grover Precision in Oxford, Maine.
In earlier years Shawn enjoyed spending time with his twin brother biking, swimming, dirt biking, snowmobiling, working on cars and trucks. He loved spending time with his childhood friends through his childhood and to the day of his passing. As he grew older he focused on time with his son, with his two German Shepherds Haley and Shilo.
He is survived by his son Tyler; his mother and step-father Wanda-Marie Parker & Jim Parker; his twin brother Eric Dutra & his wife Jennifer; his father Alfred Dutra III.
A memorial visitation will be held 5-7 pm Wednesday, May 4th at The Fortin Group, 217 Turner Street, Auburn.
