Wendy Paula Hicks

Wendy P. Hicks 1959-2023 Wendy Paula Hicks, age 63, of Augusta, Maine passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. Born April 28,1959, daughter of Charles and Georgine MacDonald. Educated in the Westfield, MA school system, the family moved to Maine, where she graduated from ELHS class of 78. She went on to work at the Maine Veterans homes in Augusta, Maine. Wendy enjoyed the water, swimming in the Gaughan’s pool from sun up to sundown, with best friends Tracy High and Ellen and Kathy Gaughan. Wendy went on to become a certified diver, going on dives in Bonaire. Wendy enjoyed spending time with her bonus daughters going on various trips and outings. Wendy is survived by her husband Charles and two daughters Elizabeth and Grace, her brother Charles and wife Kathy and her sisters Brenda and Tammy, as well as her nieces and nephew, Cheri, Jennifer, Jessica, Sarah, Jillian, RaeAnne and Louis. Wendy is predeceased by her parents and her brother Raymond.
