She was 98-and-a-half-years-old when she passed away on January 14, 2021.
She married Francis D Rule on July 8,1939. They were happily married for 75 years until his passing on January 27, 2015.
In 1941 the two along with their first child Wauneta moved to California. After several more moves, they settled in Bakersfield. Now in California, they completed their family by adding two sons Earl and Carl.
The family owned and managed two cafes, The Dinner Bell and Fox Coffee Shop. She attended and was active in church most of her life. She enjoyed doing many things like teaching Sunday School and cooking for church potlucks. Adlee was an avid quilter both at home and in the women's quilting group at church. Her family has keepsake quilts of her expert handwork.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Truman Harris, her only sibling, sister Johnnie Harris, husband Francis, and son Earl.
Survived by her two children, Wauneta Salberg (Richard), Carl Rule (Brenda)
and daughter-in-law Virginia Rule (Earl).
Grandchildren: Ronald Evans, Deanna Donaldson, Lynette Keck (Tim), Scott Rule (Kelie), Gary Rule (Laurie), Kimberlin Childress and Jaqueline Taylor (Jason).
Greatgrandchildren: Crystal Spray (Andrew), Jonathan Donaldson (Nikki), Kirstine Erickson (Brian),
Emily Jackson, Matthew Zelinka, Sarah Keck and Jordyn Rule.
Great-great-grandson Emerson Max Spray.
Niece, Loretta Beller (Travis), nephew, Arnold Harris (Ingrid).
Great-nephews: Brett Beller and Sean Harris (Jamie).
