Cecilio, my friend I am there by your side in spirit at this time when God has called your mom home. Condolences to your familia.

Grandma Ampi, 
Thank you for giving my mother life and nurturing her to become a lovely compassionate woman. Thank you for giving her a full load of siblings to guide her and assist her through her journeys in ways that may or may not be recognized by us. And on that note, I'd like to thank you for your bottomless strength and diligence to pull through any obstacle that came your way. Every ounce of strength you spent turned ordinary lives, people, and actions into miracles. Thank you for laying down a blessed path of excellence and compassion for all of your kin. I'm proud to be a descendant of yours and hope to bring pride and honor to your name. 
The services brought your legacy to light and all who attended were able to come together and provide support for one another. I'm very lucky to be part of such a tight knit respectable family who have hearts of gold. I hope everyone can see the importance and miracle of our existence... And the potential of our lives when we can exhibit the strengths that you did every single day.

Remembering my Grandmother, my Mom, and my Tias make tamales is priceless. Us grandkids would always be in charge of soaking and cleaning the leaves (Ojas). Grandmother was the engine of that assembly line. That's how she was for many of us. She kept everyone going and motivated you to do your best with what you got. She had that special quality. She was an Artist that expressed herself by what she was doing or making at the time. I admire her and will always carry her in my heart.  With Love-Roo
