and was called home on October 7th 2018. Aubrey is survived by her parents
Ricardo Mendoza and Gabrielle Cortez, paternal Grandparents Richard and
Monica Mendoza, Maternal Grandparents Dino and Susie Cortez, Aunts Breanna
and Celeste Mendoza, Uncles Robert Cortez and Elyjuh Mendoza, and 3 great grandmother’s,
2 great grandfathers along with multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins who continue on her legacy.
From the day Aubrey was born her eyes and smile lightened up any room she was in.
Aubrey had been a happy baby from birth. She would share gentle smirks or long stares
and it felt as if your souls were connected. Any friend or strangers would feel as if they had
known her a lifetime through her spirit from a simple smile. We call her our angel because
something about her was truly angelic. As she grew so did her happiness and love for people,
We witnessed the love and impact she left on everyone she met. It amazes our hearts of how
much personality she had even though she could not speak a word. The love she shared was
deeper than any audible utterance. Through her playful nature, bubbly smile, and adventurous
heart we have truly met an angel. We have felt the love of God.
