

Bill Henderson was 93 years old when he passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on January 17th, 1926 in Seminole Oklahoma to Lee and Flossie Henderson. He was the 4th born child of 12 brothers and sisters. He was married to Janice Stroud on December 23rd, 1946.
He was a WWII Army Veteran in the 2nd Battalion 36th Armored Regiment where he fought and served in Germany. Bill worked in the oilfield service industry until retirement in 1991. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother.
In his younger days, he loved hunting, horse-back riding, camping, and water skiing. Bill loved George Jones, Waylon Jennings, and picking on his family. He got a kick out of calling his kids and grandkids 3 times a day because he got to be the boss while Nan was gone.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, son Larry Henderson, son and daughter in law Danny and Maria Henderson and daughter and son in law Judy and Bobby Beam. His grandchildren: Deni, Jason, Dustin, Ricki, Derek, Cameron, and Amber. Great Grandchildren: Fantasia, Makenna, Hunter, Broc, SeanRyan, Rilynn, Maggie, Wyatt, and Emerson. Three brothers: Harold, Cleve, and Phillip, his sister Kat, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by son Tommy Wayne Henderson and daughter in law Vicki Henderson.
He was an ornery, stubborn man that really did have a soft side to him but he didn't want many people to know it. He will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
