Casey Shawn Wright had a gentle and joyful spirit that stayed with him throughout his 38 years. He had a way of making people feel at ease, often through his quiet humor, his warm smile, or simply by being fully present in the moment.
As a husband, Casey loved with intention. He gave his undivided attention, making those around him feel like they were the most important person in the room. To his wife, he showed love in the simplest and most meaningful ways, always putting her first, always choosing presence over distraction. His love was steady, selfless and sincere.
To his parents, Casey was a wonderful son. HeYe shared his love of movies and creativity with his mother. Casey’s love and light are a reflection of his mother. Casey shared his love of food and sports with his father. His smile, laughter and sense of humor were traits that brought joy to both of his parents
In his final days, Casey held tightly to hope, reciting the phrase found in scripture “I have fought the good fight.” Though much of his journey was carried out quietly and privately, we take comfort today knowing that his fight is over, his burdens are lifted, and he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
We grieve deeply, but not without hope. We are comforted knowing Casey no longer struggles, no longer carries pain, and is whole again. His life reminds us to love fully, to be present, and to find joy in the moments we are given.
Thank you, Casey, for the love you gave so freely, the laughter you shared so generously, and the legacy of kindness and faith you leave behind. We will miss you more than words can express, and we will carry you with us, always.
