Craig Steven Marrs, 57, of Bakersfield, Ca passed away on February 10, 2012. He was born to the late Albert Leroy Marrs and Mary Belle Goodwin on May 19, 1954, in Bakersfield, California. Craig graduated from South High School in 1972. As a young man, Craig worked in the melon sheds in Tipton, California before starting his career in the oil industry, where he worked for the rest of his life. The last fifteen years was spent at Nabors where he became a field supervisor. His greatest joy towards his later years was spending time with family. He is survived by his loving wife: Barbara; brothers; Robert and David; his children: Melissa, Chris, Amy, Chrystal, Nicolas, "Nick" Stanley, Stephanie, Erica, and Steven; his many grandchildren: Danny, Kristen, Joey, Katie, Mary, Bryan, Courtney, Aimee, Stephenie, Katie, Tristin, Tiffany, Kaitlin, Elizabeth, Sammy, Dakota and Logan; Great Grandchildren: Corey and Zander. He also has many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his other loving wife, Loretta Minnix. Services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary on Wednesday, February 15th, at 1 pm.
