

Irene Boler Sinclair was born on June 21, 1929 in Plain Dealing Bossier Parish Louisiana to Mittie Smith Boler and Robert Boler. They were parents to eight children, three sons; Clarence (Buddy) Roy and Huey P. five daughters; Ce Willa (Auntie) Imina, Irene (Bay Sister) Alice and Clady B. After moving from Louisiana to Bakersfield California, she met and afterwards Married Virgil Sinclair whom she remained married to until his untimely death on November 6, 2002.
Irene was the mother to eleven children, five sons; Roy, Tommy Lee, Runa, Gregory and Tyrone. Six daughters; Thelma George, Velma (Nicole-Ping) Sterling, Clarissa (Reese) Phillips Adela Sinclair, Vivian Badgett and Charline Blais. Eleven Grandchildren; Charles D Sterling lI Eric Green, Isaac George, Kyle Brada, Jamal Green, William Badgett Il, and Tyua Sterling - Newman, Sophia (Fena) Lawson, Marnie Badgett, Chanel and Monique Sinclair and 14 great grandchildren.
Irene had several job opportunities, she worked as a Health Care Provider, In the turkey processing plant, she worked Grading carrots and other field laboring jobs. When she was close to retiring, she would say "I just want to enjoy my golden years" Irene was friendly to many, laughing and talking with so many people she knew where ever she went. She was well known for her culinary skills, she also took pride in making many delicious preserves and fashioned her quilting skills into a form of art.
Preceding the death of Irene, is her husband Virgil Sinclair, three daughters; Thelma Velma (Nicole-Ping) and Clarissa (Reese). Three sons, Tommy Lee, Runa, Gregory, three son-n-laws; Charles D. Sterling Sr. Bertran Phillip and William Badgett. Two Great Grandchildren; Gabriel George and Charles C (little Charlie) Sterling III, Irene leaves to mourn to her children, Roy and Carol Green, Adela, Vivian, Charline and Michael Blais, Tyrone. Eleven Grandchildren; Charlie II, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Green, Isaac Kyle, Jamal, William Il and Marnie Badgett, Tyua and Willie Newman, Sophia Lawson, Chanel and Monique Sinclair, 14 great children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

We would like to thank my Grandmother's neighbor Ms. Jean, who was
thoughtful, helpful and kind to her.
We are also thankful for Preston George, who shared fresh caught fish, some of his garden vegetables and was very helpful in emergency situations.
And long- time friends like Ophelia Hernandez who would visit Grandma
regularly.
There are those you know who you are, that shared, cared and put a smile on
Irene's face. There are those who said a Prayer or gave her good advice, whatever
