Mr. Sears was a great mentor to me. I will always remember is sense of humor and sound business advice he gave me. Rest in Peace Mr. Sears.

Doris Jean, Darcy Jane and Dana Jill,
you are loved and are in my thoughts
and prayers.  Jim was my friend, often
my mentor and, sadly, at times my foe.
We worked together harmoniously for 42
years until his health started failing. I will never forget him or the three of you.  Thank you for the
many kindnesses over the years.  It was my privilege to have worked with
the Sears family.  Stay strong.

Darcy and Dana... your dad gave me a unique opportunity many years ago to work for him when I wasn't on the road playing music and also to oversee the restoration of that cute little Porsche Speedster he used to have. I will always be grateful for those experiences. My most humble and sincere condolences to you and your families.

I am very sorry for your loss, I tried to see him often and take him his favorite chocolate walnuts and chews each time I went to see even though I could see him fading. He is in a better place and no longer suffering
