Jarett John Mecham, aged 72, passed away on January 9, 2025, in Bakersfield, California. He was born on August 15, 1952, to Calvin and Anne (Murphy) Mecham. Jarett will be forever remembered for his kind and loving heart. He was an amazing father, devoted grandfather, and had immense love for his friends who were like family. Jarett is survived by his brother, Jerome; his daughter, Jennifer, and her husband, Jeff; grandchildren Hunter and Zach; as well as several nieces and nephews; Brandy, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Jacob, Brittany and Breanna. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service to celebrate Jarett’s life will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Baptist Church, located at 4800 Fruitvale Avenue, Bakersfield, California.
