He leaves behind his son Darren Reed, daughter Lindsay Warnock, grandson Jacob Reed, Colby, Danica, Warnock, Allen Warnock, sisters Janet Pigeon and Jill Hamlin, brother Jeffrey Reed, aunt Allie Mae Brocket, son-in-law Russ Warnock. Wife Carol Reed, Daughter Heather Reed, Mother Alice Reed, and Father Hugh Reed proceed him in death. His beloved grandmother Mabel Ryan was his joy of his early life.
Jerry was a life long resident of Bakersfield and a graduate of Bakersfield High School, class of 1962, and attended Bakersfield College.
Jerry spent many years farming, towing (Jerry Reed Towing and South Union Towing) and working in his family business.
Jerry had a passion for animals, especially dogs, and model trains. We will miss his sense of humor and imagination.
