Our daughter was 40 years old when she took her last breath here on earth. And opened her eyes in heaven. She wasn’t perfect, but she always did her best. Quietly and without desire for recognition, she touched so many heart by staying in touch, offering encouragement, or just checking on their welfare. Lindsey had the hugest heart.
From her earliest days, she loved competition and became a good athlete, especially in track, and her passion which was soccer. She played from the time she was 5, through to BHS, on their “Dynasty team”, she also played “CLUB” soccer, one year going on to the national finals., She went on to play at Cal Poly SLO, and in 2003 graduated from there with her Bachelor’s degree. Just this past month she successfully completed her Masters degree in business. .
While one of her passions was sports, her happiness came from the people she met along the way. Great friendships were formed in her teams, her classmates, co-workers and complete strangers. But as important was her love for her two dog rescues. (“Phyliss” & George”)
Lindsey was so creative and had no idea how much happiness she truly brought to all she met, and especially her family. In addition to her parents, she was carefully watched by her loving brother, Seth, Aunts and Uncles. She encouraged her cousins and adored her niece and nephew.
She helped us remember all of the blessings that we have.
DEAR LINDSEY, IF THERE WERE ANY WISH WE COULD MAKE, IT WOULD BE….ONE MORE DAY TO HOLD YOUR HAND AND WATCH YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE AS YOU PLANNED.
