Margie Ruth Jones

On Wednesday, October 6, 2021 - A visitation service will be held at Noon, Chapel at 1:00pm and graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.

A resident of Bakersfield, CA for 60 years and married to her lifelong love, William Albert Jones for 50 years. Mother of Three – David Albert Jones, Rena Ruth Jones, Kenneth Ray Jones and their stepson William Preston.Margie worked for Kern High School District for 20 years. Her hobbies included her love for Quilting, Fishing, Boating, outdoor events with her family.

Margie was born to David Ketton Mackey and Margie Arelia Maynard Mackey in Bono, Texas in 1925. Moved to Godley, Texas with siblings JB, Earl, Edna, Anna May before meeting William and moving to Bakersfield, CA. She moved to Kuna, ID in 2007 with her son Kenneth and grandson Allen was able to watch until the end of her life. And what a life full of Love, and happy memories, Bakersfield is Home.

Margie had an amazing life with so many loving Grandchildren, Great and Great Great Grandchildren.
