I loved Mary so much.  I remember when Mike n Mary took my boys home for week when I went n had my daughter Tracie. Lost contact with her n Mike for a good many yrs phone-in old phone book 3/30 and it was then I found out when wechad all missed a friend n very special family member. U are very deeply missed. Love u and Mike very much. U and Gary I am sure n laughing n joking. Miss u

I didn't know she had passed, and if she was ill, no one told me...
She knows I know now...
And LOVE those babies extra for her...
However, I can assure you...They feel her presence now, as we all will forever!

I called this woman, Mother Mary...I Loved her like a Mom...
She and Mike, lived next door to my Dad, in Upland.. 
This woman, was my Saving Grace....
I owe her, My life...She was there. When no one else was... For me...
She taught me, so many lessons....
I will miss her dearly....
And so will my husband.....
She and Mike, were such Great Support, to Neighbors, and Friends...
I will Always remember her. As, my second Mother... 
They have met by now, I'm sure. In the Heavens above...Where they both are now, as Angels!!!!

I have fond Memories of Mary when I lived in San Jose with my Aunt Fran and Uncle Matt who lived right next door to the Fillmores.  She and Mike were so generous, funny and warm.  They loved Kids. She knew I loved playing with their dog Shasta and allowed me to dog sit many times.  I still have the photo that she took of me with Shasta. I moved back to Hawaii and came back to San Jose years later for my Uncle Matt's funeral, and one of the biggest and most comforting hugs I gave and had was to Aunt Mary. They already had moved to Upland years before but came back for his funeral.  Aunt Mary your Light and Spirit will live on.  Rest in Love.

I have years of fond memories of time with Mary.  We met in San Jose, as Michael and my hubbie Al worked at the same company.  Getting close to Mary was very easy.  She was my home decorating consultant, plus a knack of shopping and finding those gems that were just right and at a very reasonable price!  Think the Chino auction!

Both Mary and Mike had an open-door policy with a hospitality that went above and beyond!!  After we moved from Southern California to Northern California, we took advantage of that hospitality quite a few times.  Mary always made you feel like she had all the time in the world for you, wanted to hear every detail of our lives.
 
Mary, your generous spirit and warm heart I thank you for sharing with us and you will be missed!!

Aunt Mary, 
We will always have such wonderful and fun memories of visiting with you and Uncle Mike. The kids have never forgotten "Flash" the turtle, (David and Braden still talk about him) the Buffalo burger place and of course Disney Land and eating at the Blue Bayou (Carrie's favorite memory).  Rodney loved going to the flea market with you, but I most enjoyed just sitting in the living room talking to you, listening to stories about you, Dad and Toots.  We will miss you!  Love Rodney,Brenda, Carrie, David and Braden.
