On Friday December, 18, 2020, Maxine Betsy Cox, loving Mother and Grandmother passed away at the age of 85. Maxine was born July 20,1935. Maxine and her late husband Kenneth Cox ran the Rae's Steakhouse in Bakersfield for many years. Maxine was known for wit and home cooking, especially her rolls. She did not miss the chance to go play Bingo or slots at the casino. She is reunited in death with her true love, her siblings, and many friends/relatives. She is survived by her children Deborah Cordes and husband Robert Cordes, Stephen Cox, Daughter in Law Carolyn Cox, Pamela Cox, and Kenneth Jr. She also leaves behind her grandchildren and great grandchildren and all those that loved her. She leaves a hole in our hearts, but peace knowing she is celebrating in Heaven and watching down on us all.
