Michael Alex Gibson

Long time Bakersfield resident Michael Alex Gibson passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2020. He was born November 6, 1941 in Antlers, Oklahoma, then moved to Shafter, California as a small child. He lived in Bakersfield for the remainder of his life.

Mike is survived by his son Rick Gibson of Agoura Hills, California, daughter Cindy Fisher of Bakersfield, and sister Jan McCoy of Merkel, Texas. He has four grandchildren, Rick’s daughters Emily Gibson and Abigail Gibson of Los Angeles, California, and Cindy’s sons Alexander Fisher and Andrew Fisher of Bakersfield. He joins his great love, Gail, in death.
