Miss you so much, miss your wisdom, advice and all around kindness. You were taken way to soon for us, but we know that God's timing is always perfect.  Thank you for all the wonderful memories. My life long friend. My confidant as teenagers. I first meet Mike when I was in the 4th or 5th grades as well as his brother Donnie. They came with their dad to visit my grandfather at his farm. My family knew them from Okla. Mikes dad Bud and mom Grace grew up with my Mom. When we came to California Mikes family soon moved here also. We became really close friends in High School. He was my best friend, my confidant, my Pal. At one point of our lives we did almost everything together. He will always hold a special place in my heart although there is and will be a void there. Miss you my friend you were one of the most honest fun loving caring people I have known. I know that you have already earned your place in heaven and everyone is already in love with you and that beautiful smile...Always my friend.

I first had the pleasure of meeting Mike when I went to work for Sully&Sons in March of 2001.I could tell by Mikes friendly handshake that he would be a great co-worker.Mike was the type of person who, as a boss was fun to work for.He was a very smart person,but he never was one to flaunt it.I always enjoyed doing things for Mike because he always said thank you in a very polite way. After the three of us retired, Mike Clint and I had a monthly lunch date.We would catch up on things.Some were funny,some a little sad.Mike had gone through a lot of rough times in his life,but he always kept a smile on his face through it all.Mike Hinds was a truly great human being.I will truly miss him.He was a true friend

I first had the pleasure of meeting Mr Hinds when I went to work for Sully&Sons back in march 2001.Mike was one of the nicest guys  I had ever met.A very likeable fellow.He made me feel right at home from the beginning.Mike never told me to do a task for him.He always asked politely for help.I always enjoyed doing things for Mr Hinds.You don't often find people like him.After we retired Mike,Clint and I would have a monthly lunch date to keep in touch.The conversations were sometimes funny,sometime sad.Mike went through a lot of things in his life..some good some not so good.But Mike was a strong person.I will truly miss Mike.He was a wonderful human being.

Mike was my friend, former boss, and benefactor.  More than anything else he was my friend, a man generous with his time and talents who taught me much about our job working together at Sully's, more importantly about life as well. 

Mike gave me a chance to work with him, and I was forever grateful.  He helped me learn the ropes of a new job, and to become successful not only in my job, but in other aspects of my life as well.  

After we retired, it was our routine to once a month or so have lunch with another former co-worker Mike Howe.  I have never enjoyed any luncheon get together more than I have those.  His place at the table will be a glaring omission when next we meet for lunch.  

Mike Hinds was a good man, he was my fried, I will miss him.
