Nelson Tiamson Buenaflor was born on October 27, 1944 in Victorias City in the Province of Negros Occidental, Phillipines to Carolina Tiamson Buenaflor and Salvador Buenaflor Sr. He passed away on August 15, 2022 in Bakersfield, California at age 77. He was a loving husband to Alicia Baliton Buenaflor (deceased) and devoted father to Aileen, Genevieve, Carolyn, and Novette. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, his brothers Salvador Jr., Eduardo, Wilfredo, and Jesulito; sons-in-law Charles and Matthew; and grandchildren CJ, Aaron, and Amira.
Throughout his life, Nelson made countless sacrifices to support his family. He will be remembered for his dedication to loved ones and generosity. He continues to be loved and cherished by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
A funeral service for Nelson will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 124 Colombus Street, Bakersfield, CA 93305.
Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
