Richard will be remembered by his Friday LaCabana lunch buddies; James Collier, Paul Schmidt, Kent Bowersox, Jaime Cancio, Betty Ramirez, et.al. Included in this remembrance for Richard, were his fellow students at California State University, Bakersfield: Ernie Hashim [CSUB WSL Media Lab] who attended the funeral, and those that included Richard in their prayers – Rick A. Hobbs, Cindy Garcia, Melissa Pineda, Marisol Garcia, Dustin Combs, Lamont Gridiron, Horse Robinson and others in the Art Department that all remembered him. Some 83 students and others at CSUB acknowledged and exchanged their e-mail condolences at the sad news of Richard's passing. Richard was a good man and he will be missed but not forgotten.

He asked to be celebtated in life and he was; one finds with his death, the celebration goes on. He was my friend and he will be missed.
