My heart is saddened that Brian is no longer with us here on Earth.  Yet, I am comforted to know that he is at peace, that he and Bob are now riding motorcycles in heaven together, and both are enjoying each other’s company again. They were great friends and co-workers for so many years at Santa Fe Railway/BNSF. They had countless good times; sometimes it was as simple as getting together for coffee! They rode their bikes all over California, Oregon and Washington. Our families go way back, Brian and Barbara and Bob and I, to the early years of railroad life, through kids with chicken pox, to many, many wonderful years and memorable events. Brian was a true friend, always laughing and always in cahoots with Bob. I will remember Brian always. He was a wonderful person, an amazing husband, father and grandfather.  Deepest sympathies and prayers from our family to Barbara, David and family.  Brian will truly be missed by all who knew him. 

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed working with  Brian all these many years on the railroad.  He was very kind and sweet and had some funny stories to relate.   After 37 plus years working with all of the guys, I felt like they were family members instead of co-workers.  My prayers go out to Barbara, David and the rest of Brian's family.  I know he is now at peace.

It's not often you find a Brother, Mentor and Great Friend, Brian was all of those things combined. I worked with Brian for over 10 years at BNSF Railroad in Bakersfield, Ca. Brian always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him and he was always willing to stop and take the time to talk about anything you wanted. He mentored me as a Switchman, Conductor and Engineer, always taking the time to help me with any issues or questions I may have. Thank you Brian for helping mold me into the Railroader I am today. You will be truly missed. May Angels Guide you in the Heavens Above. May the roads you ride bring you light 

He was and always be my birthday buddy.  He and my dad were something together. I remember when they flew cross country to rescue my grandparents. I lived in North Carolina at the time and they came threw to see us. I think they had too much fun on that trip. That's how they were together always having fun and laughing.
