Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad like mine. 

My dad was very special to me. He was what every little girl pictures her dad would be, from being strong, to being Mr. Fixit, to always having the answer that I needed. He gave me the confidence to always know my self-worth and the strength to chase my dreams.

He would call me by the nickname he gave me, which was “Kid”. It would always warm my heart and make me smile when he said it. He was very proud of me as I was of him. Anyone who knew my dad, knew that he was one very special man!

My dad had a special talent, he could fix anything, whether it was broken, just needing to be improved upon, or needing to be completely re-made. My dad took pride in everything that he did. If there was an opportunity for my dad to build something that could help someone out or make things easier for them, he would take the time to make it and when he gave it to them, he expected nothing in return. 

My dad might have come across to some as being gruff, but if you really knew him, you knew it to not be true. He had a heart of gold. He could be stubborn at times but if you could see him with any kind of animal you would see that he had the biggest heart of all. 

I will miss you dad and all the special times that we had, whether it was visiting with you and mom, going out to eat, and celebrating our birthdays together. 

Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever…

Bob loved his family. The memory I have of him is family. Tina is my wonderful sister-in-law. Bryan is my brother. Travis is my nephew and Bob's only grand child. My fondest memory of Bob is when we would come together for Travis's Birthday or holidays. Bob was always quiet but you could see in his eyes how much he loved his family. Bob worked hard his whole life for his family. 

Robert W Cash (Pop's) I called him. I couldn't of asked for a better Father-In-Law. He was always there for not only Family but for anyone that he could help. He was one of the Smartest and Talented Men I knew. He could fix things from electronics to Car's , Tractor's and everything in between. He was a Master at Welding. he could think of what he would like to build , put it on paper than build it from his vast knowledge of everything. I had the pleasure of knowing him for around 37 years and the Honor of being his Son-in-Law for 34 years. he was a strong hard working Man and he showed that to the very end. Will always miss him and his wealth of knowledge. Rest in Peace Pop's. Will always Love You and am glad I was able to be with you until the end. Now you have fun up in Heaven Driving whatever your next project was. A 30 Ford Sedan that you never got too build to match the coupe perhaps. Always in my Heart Pop's.
