He will be lovingly remembered by his family; daughters, Anita Herrera, Carmen Castillo (Frank), Barbara Chavez (Francisco); grandchildren, AnnMarie, Michelle, Anastasia, Frank Jr, Kathryne, Cassandra, and Francisco IV; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Robert was predeceased by his parents Dolores and Anastacio Herrera and his wife Vivian and son Robert Herrera.
Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He used his mastery of welding to provide for his family for 40 years. With the fruits of his labor and Robert's giving nature, he often thought of his grandchildren and how to pass joy onto them. Some of the things that brought him the most joy were traveling, winning a jackpot at the casino, or simply playing cards at the house with family. Of course while doing all of those things, Robert had a nice cold Coors in his hand.
A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday March 5, 2026. Rosary and Mass will be at St. Augustine Church in Lamont at 10 am. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery at 12:30.
