Dora Helen Benavides

Dora Helen "Nana" Benavides, passed Jan. 8, 2019 peacefully of natural causes in the comfort of her home. Dora was born July 15, 1957 in Barstow, CA and was a long time resident. Through out her life she enjoyed several hobbies which included, baking, cake decorating, crocheting and embroidering. Her favorite most important hobby was spending quality time with her 9 beautiful grandchildren, they were her life. Dora is proceeded in death by her father Diego Jose Mendez, her mother Consuelo Mendez, her grandson Diego Benavidez Jr. She is survived by her Husband Domingo Benavides and their 4 children, Eliza Benavidez, Jessica Acosta & spouse Encarnacion Acosta, Diego Benavidez & spouse Jessica Benavidez, Domingo Benavidez Jr and spouse Jessica Gabriela Benavidez. She has 9 surviving grandchildren, Enrique, Melodia, Sophia, Marcos, Joshua, Domingo III, Neveah, Cristian, Cattleya Benavidez. She has 7 surviving siblings Jesse, Andres, Paula, Tommy, Mary, Mele, and Connie Mendez.
