Earl Wilson Hinton

May 28th, 1944 – April 15th, 2025

Earl Wilson Hinton passed away peacefully on April 15th, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on May 28th, 1944, to Smith and Rhoda Hinton, Earl was known for his warm spirit and love for the color red.

A gifted trumpet player, his music brought joy and inspiration to those around him. Earl proudly served his country in the United States Army and Army Reserves, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to service and dedication.

He is survived by his children: Sharon Pollack, Anthony and Laura Hinton, and Rebecca and Greg Garus; and by his nine grandchildren: Sam Pollack, Ben Pollack, Kayla Jackson, Tre Jackson, Paeden Hinton, Ohin Hinton, Zachary Garus, Dylan Garus, and Audrey Garus.

Earl’s legacy of service and musicianship remains part of his story. He will be remembered by those who knew him.
