Evelyn C. Muscarella

On November 26, 2023 longtime Barstow, CA resident Evelyn C. Muscarella passed away at the age of 96 in Pflugerville, TX where she had been living with her daughter and son-in-law. After residing in Barstow for 56 years Evelyn left in July of 2012 for health reasons, but always considered Barstow her home. She will be dearly missed by her surviving family consisting of daughter and son-in-law Jane and Gil Duarte, son Charles Muscarella, Jr. of Barstow, sister and brother-in-law Edith and Thomas Otsuki and sister and brother-in-law Hilda and Kenneth Matsuoka, both in Hawaii, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Joe and Rose Muscarella of Mt. Morris, NY, sister in-law Connie Leone of Avon, NY, granddaughter Anna Avery of Liberty Hill, TX, 5 great grandchildren residing in Texas, and many nieces and nephews. Her identical twin Helen Hino, living in Japan at the time of her passing, outlived her by only 2 days.

She is preceded in death by husband Charles Muscarella, Sr., sisters Jean Bishop of Hawaii and Barbara Nishiuchi of Las Vegas, NV, brother Franklin Hino of California, and granddaughter Kyri Diaz of Duncanville, TX.

Memorial services to be held in Barstow and announced at a later date.
