Frances Ann Kramlich, 87, of Barstow, California, was called home by the Lord on April 15, 2026, in the company of her treasured family.
Frances was born in Poughkeepsie, New York, to the late Herbert and Anna Mae Barrenger. She was known for her love of God, generosity, strong work ethic, and servant’s heart. She touched the lives of all who knew her.
On October 13, 1959, she married the love of her life, Jack Kramlich. Together they shared 30 years of marriage until he transitioned to his heavenly home in 1989.
Frances was a dedicated registered nurse and devoted 42 years of her life to serving others well at Barstow Community Hospital, where she worked until her retirement in 2012.
She was a longtime and faithful member of Calvary Chapel Barstow, attending whenever the doors were open and living out her faith daily. Frances found joy in Bible study, reading, swimming, working in her yard, traveling, playing games, square dancing, camping, trying new recipes, and providing meals for others. Above all,
she cherished time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Laponis; son, Christopher Kramlich; sister, Carol Angevine; brother, Robert Barrenger; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kramlich ; daughter, Michele Kramlich; parents; brothers, Richard Barrenger and John Barrenger; and sister, Joan Sergison.
A celebration of life will be held on May 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mead Mortuary in Barstow, California.
Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband.
