Nicholas L. Keating, age 69, passed away 8/12/2016. He was born in Loma Linda, CA on 12/25/1946 and graduated from Barstow High School. He married Kathy Reeves Keating on 8/17/1967. Nick retired, after 42 years, as a switchman from Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of the UTU. He had a passion for photography, computer games, golf, model trains and flying model airplanes. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Keating, his children: Kris Ayer and Kari Bankston, his grandchildren: Kortland Wood, Avery Ayer, Jacob Bankston and Joshua Bankston, and his great grandchildren: Jayden and Connor Wood. The funeral will held at the First Baptist Church, in Barstow, Ca, Aug. 23, 2016, at 10 am. Visitation will be before the service starting at 9 am. Interment will be family only.
