Martin Mesa Martinez

Martin was born October 20, 1948 in Sinton, Texas to the late Luis Martinez and Aurora Garcia. Martin was a truck driver for many years in Corpus Christi. He loved to play baseball in his younger years.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Emma Martinez; his sons, Ronnie (Marion) of Albia, Iowa and Martin (Jessica) of Sinton, Texas; and his daughter, Leticia of Bastrop, Texas.

He is preceded in death by a son, Rudy Martinez; daughter, Monica Cacho; sister, Lucy Zapata; and brothers, Luis Martinez and Manuel Gomez.

He is also survived by brothers, Tomas (Millie) Gomez of Joshua,Texas, Juan (Songhui) Gomez of Missouri and Lebrado (Carmen) Gomez of Sinton, Texas; and a sister Anita (Luis) Castillo of Sinton, Texas. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and numerous family and friends.

He was a dedicated servant of Bastrop Spanish Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved teaching and preaching bible truths to others every chance he had, even to the doctors. He will be missed by many.
