There are many funny, great times with Uncle Gary but I guess the one I will now always remember is when we all seemed to show up at his house one Sunday after his diagnosis and, as he left for the hospital in the ambulance, he waved slightly and said "thank you for coming to my funeral" with a smile on his face. The Burton humor was still there even though he was dehydrated and in pain.

Prayers go out to the Burton Family. Gary Wayne say "Hi" to everyone for me.

I grew up in Coady with the Burton's, went to school, Coady Baptist Church, & played with ehm, I remember the values of faith Mr. & Mrs. Burton instilled into those children, and Gary kept that faith, takin others in the neighborhood in wheelchairs to church, so when you walk through those gates you will hear Our heavenly Father Say, "Job well done my son", and greet the others that have gone before you, while walking those streets of gold,as you find your house of many mansions,.
