Benjamin lived in Beaumont and was a landscaper.
He is preceded in death by his cousins, Michael Dahl Sr. and Michael Dahl, Jr; and uncles, Edward Rivera, joe Rivera and Rudy Rivera.
He is survived by his parents, Gilbert and Gloria Rivera, of Beaumont; sisters, Marcella Hinojosa, Ermalinda Alfaro and Sheila Rivera, all of Beaumont; brother, Rueben Rivera, of Beaumont; the love of his life, Heidi Lara, of Beaumont; children, Benjamin Rivera, Jr., of Banning, Gabriel Rivera, Gabriella Rivera and Marissa Lara, all of Beaumont; nieces and nephews, Monique Hinojosa, Vanessa Hinojosa, Tara Hinojosa, Richard Hinojosa, Jr., and Isaiah Hinojosa, Desirae Montes, Rueben Silva, Israel Alfora, Isaac Alfaro, Isabella Alfaro, all of San Jacinto, Ruben Ribera, Jr., Eliana Rivera and Roman Rivera, all of Beaumont.
Visitation will be held at Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont on Friday, July 22 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Memorial will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. at Weaver Mortuary on Friday, July 22.
