

David Watterson, born in Canada on April 30, 1951, passed away at the age of 74 on the 11th of February 2026 in Banning CA. He moved to California with his family in 1960 and graduated from Pasadena High School in 1969. David served in the Air Force from 1971 – 1975 during the Vietnam War. After his military service he then decided to acquire his private pilot license and a 60’ yacht for traveling on the weekends. As a talented photographer he enjoyed taking pictures while traveling and many of his photographs won contests and were used on magazine covers through-out the years. He was also a car lover, stemming from his passion in the Southern California Car Culture in the 1960’s. His career in the motion picture industry lasted for 35 years working as a camera car driver and an extra in the Motion picture Industry working on the sets of many movies and television shows.
David and Nancy attended the same Middle School and High School and reconnected at a High School reunion. In 2006, David married Nancy Boler and they enjoyed 15 years together traveling around the world.
David is survived by his wife, Nancy, stepson Devin and wife Sarah, stepdaughter Elizabeth and husband Mark and 6 grandchildren, Christian, Billy, Bobby, Jack Emily and Erik.
He is also survived by his three sisters: Sherry, Wrennie and Glenna.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 225 E Eighth Street, Beaumont, CA 92223, on April 1, 2026, at 10:00 am. A Reception To Follow Service will take place at Fellowship Hall, 225 E. Eighth Street, Beaumont, CA 92223, on April 1, 2026, at 10:45 am. Graveside Service and Military Honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518, on April 1, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
