Elvira lived in Cherry Valley for 23 years and previously in Covina for 37 years. She was a retired retail clerk and teachers aide. She attended St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church and was a member of the Sons of Italy, West Covina Lodge for 54 years; sang in the chorus at Highland Springs Country Club; held many offices in Sons of Italy; enjoyed her family and had many parties at her house.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Nicosia.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Vilardo, of Rancho Cucamonga and Judy Estrada, of Cherry Valley; son, Roger (Helen) Nicosia, of Huntington Beach; sisters, Evelyn Zona and Helen Halabuda; 14 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Beaumont. Disposition will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26 at Riverside National Cemetery
