Born in Kunagota, Hungary the 3rd youngest to a family of 10. At 16 he left his small hometown for the big city of Budapest. Escaped when he was 20 and made it to Canada in the Spring of 1949. He met the one and only true love of his life, Theresa in Canada in December of 1955. Proposed on is birthday March of 1956. They then married in July 1956 and moved to California in 1957. He worked in the restaurant business until he retired at age 62. He served 2 presidents in his 32 years as a waiter, captain, and maitre'd. in the end he became a banquet manager. God was with him the whole way. His family, faith, and the Holy Eucharist led him through hunger, nakedness, and homelessness with Thanksgiving for his blessed life here on earth and to his Eternal home in the arms of Our Lord.
