Gary D. Mills passed away December 30, 2011, in Banning, California. He was born in Santa Monica, California on July 16, 1954 and he graduated from Banning High School. Gary worked as a sheet metal worker in the Silicon Valley, as a cook at the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital and as a fuel truck driver in Los Angeles. Gary was a Past Master and Lifetime Member of the Masonic Lodge #668. He loved the outdoors, the ocean, fishing and camping, particularly at San Simeon. Gary is survived by two sons, Michael D. Mills and Andrew C. Mills of Banning; his mother, Virginia Mills of Banning; his sisters, Darlene Kinnevey of Riverside and Eileen Campbell of Middleton, Idaho and one grandchild. Memorial service 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Banning United Methodist Church, 235 N. 2nd St, Banning, California. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Banning Methodist Church Memorial Garden. Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
