James Anthony Vasquez, 57, passed into eternal life on December 13, 2017 in Palm Springs,
CA. James was a sixteen year resident of Cabazon, CA, where he enjoyed being a special
education teacher. He was born on November 11, 1960 in Los Angeles, and grew up in
Commerce CA. He attended Bell Gardens High School, and received an AA in Education
from Mt. San Jacinto College. James was a keen student of history, and was particularly
interested in studying the American Civil War, and World War Two. His hobbies were
reading and playing strategic board games. He possessed a great sense of humor and had
a smile for everyone he met. He is survived by his Wife of fourteen years, Rosemarie, his
father, Frank Vasquez, his sister Yvonne Blake, his brother Louie Vasquez, his nephews
Raymond and Robert Blake and his niece Alison Blake, who all love him and will miss him
forever. A memorial service will be held on January 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Weaver
