Thank you for opening our eyes to a different side of the world and keeping us laughing with your many stories, accompanied by your special laugh. You traversed the world and found your soulmate. We were saddened to hear of Jean's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the difficult days ahead. Our hope is that your wonderful memories of this remarkable woman bring you comfort and peace.

We have a lovely memory of our first visit to Auntie Jean's home after a long journey from Robert and Sheila's. We received a really warm welcome and sat down to a most memorable bacon and egg breakfast. We have some happy memories and lovely photographs of our time spent in California. Our thoughts are with Hank and the family.

Sheila, I always enjoyed spending time with your mom on her visits to Ventura. How lucky to have so many wonderful stories to tell & memories to share. Catharina & I will be by in July with a picnic, we can sit in the garden with our girls, and tell about our European adventures. We cannot wait to see the Wenzel family, we miss you guys."

I have such lovely memories of you Auntie Jean, and heard so many fine stories about you from your brothers and sisters over the years. We have all loved visiting you when we could. You dealt with life with such bravery and spirit right to the end. We will miss you.

Wow. What a beautifully written life. The closing chapter sad with pain, but the love of family must have brought great joy, nonetheless. Knowing Sheila, Jean's daughter, Sheila's husband Robert, and  Jean's gorgeous granddaughter Gillian who just returned from Italy... I have heard stories about Jean for many years. I  know Jean through the kindness and love her descendants exude, and through Gillians children, and grandchildren. Jean's love will never die.-

Our condolences to the family.  I remember Jean specifically at the bridal shower for Lucy.  She was a delightful conversationalist and I enjoyed talking with her, as it was pretty much the first time I met members of Lucy's family.  We are very sorry for your loss; we are hoping your many memories will help comfort you at this time.
