John Albert Goodwin, 74 years old and a 10 year resident of Beaumont, California passed away September 25th, 2014. John spent 20 years serving in the US Air Force and also served as a volunteer officer for the Beaumont Police Department. He was also a boy scout Leader in Huntington Beach for 10 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Julie Goodwin; Daughter, Pam Riederich; Sons, Michael Goodwin, James Goodwin, Patrick Goodwin and Joseph Goodwin; and 8 Grandchildren. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Friday October 10th, 2014 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 1234 Palm Ave. Beaumont California 92223. Military Honors and Inurnment will follow at 12:45 pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside California 92518.
