

June Elizabeth Blevins was born a fraternal twin on June 5th, 1946, in Shiloh, Alabama. Her parents were William and Lola Blevins and are both deceased. In her earlier years, she lived in Brodhead, Kentucky, before moving to Southern California. She leaves behind an older sister Ruth Ann Freeman of Sun City, CA, brother Thomas Blevins of Bloomington, CA, and her twin sister Janet Dockum of Sparta, MO. June has older siblings to join in the after-life, Frank, Jerry, Jack, Larry, Sue Burton, and younger brother Gary. June leaves behind her beloved husband, Lawrence (Larry) Kassebaum of Banning, CA. Larry and June met through their sisters that worked together. After a month of dating, they fell madly in love and were married for 57 years. June a dedicated, loving wife, raised three children on her own while her husband Larry was deployed as a Marine in the Vietnam War. June had three children and leaves behind, oldest son Larry Allen Jr., Wayne Stuart, and Lisa Diana Whitnum. June studied nursing and specialized in geriatrics, and worked many years while being a full-time mother and wife. June also leaves behind three grandchildren, Frankie Lawrence, Jonathan, and Coral. She was an avid reader, gardener, and loved all animals. She had a passion for art, decorating, loved music, dancing, running and exercising. June had a strong faith in God and enjoyed reading
her bible. She taught her children that no one owes them anything, and through hard work and dedication, they can achieve anything in life. June loved her roses and enjoyed working in her bountiful flower garden. June was a kind, generous, loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. June passed away on September 24, 2020. She will always be loved and missed-- Until we meet again in the after-life.
