I just learned of Karon's passing.  I feel so sad and so many thoughts are jumbled but I want to express my condolences to her family.  

We were best friends from 7th grade until after High School and continued writing, calling and sometimes getting together over the years.   It started when we started sharing so many adventures like being silly kids and toilet papering houses when we were 14ish .   We even made it in the paper once for a job well done!  We celebrated and cried over boyfriends, teachers, and parents and siblings.  

I remember when she met Gary and was so excited but yet cautious.   She liked him from the beginning.  I married and moved to No Calif.  We were both busy with 'adult' life but kept contact.  I loved her laugh and the sparkle in her eyes when she was happy.  There are so many memories of my younger years and Karon was always there.  

I feel grief to discover why she was not responding to my correspondences.  I have missed her so much the last few years, thinking she must be mad at me for some reason, why else had she not responded to attempts at contact.  I wish that was what happened.   

Karon may peace and contentment and love be with you.   

Karon was an amazing lady, and I feel privileged to have known her.    

Karon you are truly missed by your circle of friends that get together at the rez, you are thought of often.rest in peace.

My heartfelt sympathy to Karon's family. I went to Katella High School and was a good friend of your Mother. We had a lot of fun together. I am sad I was not able to connect with her over the years as I did not see her at any of the reunions. One of my Katella classmates sent out an e-mail to let us know she had passed.  I pray God will comfort you at this time and help you to remember the good times.
